Unlike other public universities in Hong Kong, HSUHK receives no subsidy from the government or any organizations. As a fast-growing university, support from the commercial sector is an important source of income that directly contributes to their ability to continue providing high-quality education for the future pillars of society, while improving their teaching and learning facilities.
As a corporate sponsor of The Fred Hollows Foundation, CMG is honoured to be part of the advisory committee to provide ideas and funding in support of their mission in restoring vision for people in disadvantaged communities whose blindness is avoidable. To date, the unique proposition of this foundation has brought light to the lives of over 2.5 million people in the world and counting.
